Today, my NaNoWriMo story exploded in my head. Suddenly there's a lot more threads to the story, and I want to follow them all. So, it's dominated my writing. I'm only stopping now because I'm exhausted. It was a short day because I treated myself, going to the White Cross for dinner and a quiz. But before that (and a little bit after) I wrote 4332 words, 3581 of them on Soul Trader. That brings me to 16660 words, nearly a third of the default target.
I'm not so sure about this chapter, though. I seem to have picked up an unreliable narrator, going into things that just appeared when I wrote it. Not sure if I want to push those themes; and if it's okay to have an unreliable arrator here because it's a flashback that Simone is telling her new friends about.
Maybe I'll be more sure about it when I wake up in the morning.
